Tackle Tuesday : Blade Baits

This weeks feature is the Strike King pure poison vs Strike King naked rage blade.

One of my favorite search baits is the Strike King rage blade. I use it primary around grass or tules when cranking isn’t an option. I use the naked rage blade whenever I want the bait to ride higher in the water column or when I want a smaller profile. My favorite trailer is a 4″ swimming caffeine shad.

Modifications – I usually color the blade black, trim the skirt just behind the hook, and add super glue to keep the trailer in place.
