3. Provide the highest possible level of performance

The new Gill Tournament (FG2) suit is a serious technical foul weather gear garment developed for both professional and avid tournament an- glers. The FG2 design addresses key challenges faced by anglers.

Existing rain jacket hoods do not stay in place while facing high winds or when running a boat at speed. To solve this core problem, the Gill R&D team worked with top pros to make a revolutionary new design that we call the Vortex Hood.

Air flow is streamed around the hood through a dedicated channel and mesh lined collar, and is expelled through external collar vents. This reduces pressure variants behind the head, force on the head and neck, making it perfect for use at high speeds.

The Vortex hood also features a high cut thermal collar with a cushioned face guard, a two-way volume adjustment for a secure fit, and improved room for more comfort over base layers.

Gill designers did not stop at the hood. The FG2 Tournament rain suit offers key features not currently available in other suits.

FG2 Tournament Features:
Comfort – Soft, flexible and lightweight Gill 3 DotTM fabric construction. Articulated arms and legs give freedom of movement when casting, landing fish, and running the boat. Fleece lined hand warmer pockets and collar prevent chafing and offer warmth when needed.

Performance – Revolutionary Vortex hood design keeps hood on at speed. High visibility prismatic reflective patches are used throughout for safety and visibility at night. Reinforcement patches on critical wear areas at elbows and knees add to durability.

Dry – Gill 3 DotTM, 2 layer waterproof breathable fabric with high durability.
All seams are fully taped and heat-sealed. Retractable inner and outer wrist cuff seals and 2-way YKK zippers with double storm flaps keep water out.

Gill garments are guaranteed to keep you dry all day in the pouring rain.
