Tackle Tuesday – Cut-R-Worm

Keith Combs is back with Tackle Tuesday and this weeks feature is the Strike King Cut-R-Worm. This is one of my favorite baits to use anytime the fish are around shallow grass. I usually fish it with a medium retrieve, keeping it just above the grass. My favorite colors are green pumpkin for most circumstances and junebug for those dark cloudy days. This is a great technique to use during the pre-spawn, spawn, and post-spawn.

My recommended set-up is a 7ft Power Tackle PG144 or a Keith Combs Signature Series KCSB70M, an Owner 1/8 oz 5/0 twist lock hook, a Shimano Metanium HG 7.4, and 20lb Seaguar Invizx.
