The Bass University announced today that it has joined forces with Anglers Inn International, a leading outfitter of trips to trophy largemouth bass waters in Mexico and unparalleled peacock bass fishing in the Amazon. The Bass University provides top notch angling instruction online, in the classroom and on the water, and now they’ll extend their classroom abroad, to some of the most fabled fisheries on earth.
“While we welcome anglers of all skill levels at Anglers Inn, it is particularly thrilling to see a skilled fisherman work his craft on a world class fishery,” said Anglers Inn President Billy Chapman Jr., a member of the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. “We look forward to hosting Mike Iaconelli, Pete Gluszek and as many of their students as possible in Mexico, Brazil and Idaho. We think we can provide the perfect laboratory for them to employ what they’ve learned from their instructors.”
Iaconelli, never one to hold back his opinions, was blunt in his assessment of the partnership: “Let me tell you, I’ve fished and traveled all over the world and the fishing and lodging at Billy Chapman’s Anglers Inn is some of the best I’ve ever seen,” he said.
In keeping with The Bass University’s tradition of dynamic, hands-on instruction from top pros, Ike and The Dean will lead a trip to the Anglers Inn lodge at Lake El Salto in November of 2017 with discounted rates for Bass University students and subscribers. The students will get a chance to socialize with the pair and apply what they’ve learned in the classes on a fishery known for double digit bass. If you’ve ever wanted to experience the best bass fishing in the world, now’s the time to sign up because presence of Ike and The Dean will only make it more extraordinary. Space is limited, so if you’d like to reserve a spot, contact Hanna Robbins at LadyAngler@AnglersInn.com immediately.
“We are excited for our students to experience the world class bass fishing and unmatched hospitality of Anglers Inn,” said The Dean. “Additionally, we plan to give away trips to Anglers Inn for two lucky winners chosen at random from the roster of Bass University classroom students and Bass U TV subscribers. The winners will be announced on Bass U Live so be sure to tune in. Stay tuned for more details and please plan to join us in November.”
