There always seems to be at least one statement or word that that you hear flying around between the field of Elite Series anglers. When we arrived at Wheeler Lake for stop number four of the Bassmaster Elite Series we heard rumors of just how tough the fishing was going to be, in fact was going to be down right bad. Most anglers agreed 16lbs would get you into the to 50 cut. As the day one weigh in proceeded one thing was evident, the best bass anglers in the world smashed them again. The word of the week quickly turned from tough to “sandbagger’.
